Cerakote — high-quality ceramic coating for precision projects
Cerakote is a polymer-ceramic composite coating that can be applied to metals, plastics, polymers and wood. Similar to powder coating, Cerakote is used to provide a durable shield against the elements.

Because Cerakote is thinner than powder coating, it can be used for items with tighter tolerances, like firearms. It can also be used on items that can't go into a high heat oven to cure, so require low temperature or air cure.

Cerakote is recommended for parts repeatedly exposed to high heat. Because it has high temperature coatings that will withstand up to 2,000 degrees, it is optimal for engine parts.

Why Cerakote?
The unique formulation used for Cerakote ceramic coating enhances a number of physical performance properties, including:
  • Abrasion/wear resistance
  • Corrosion resistance
  • Chemical resistance
  • Impact strength
  • Durability

Common applications:
  • Automotive (under the hood)
    • Engine components
    • Exhaust systems
  • Firearms
  • Knives
  • Tools
  • Consumer electronics
  • LED lighting
  • Fixtures
  • Computers
  • Chassis
